Who is this for?
Those responsible in their organisation for managing health & safety policy and practice at a higher level, reporting to or part of senior management staff.
This qualification is typically intended for higher level health & safety managers who have specific responsibilities for the health & safety both in the workplace and amongst employees. Taken entirely online through the SHEilds eLearning portal, the Level 5 Diploma is tailored to suit the learner’s skills and knowledge with assessment made through collection of evidence during their day-to-day working activities. This course is available through City & Guilds. Although this qualification is a Level 5 on the UK National Qualification Framework (UK NQF) some units are Level 6. Furthermore, learners should note that basic units no longer offer automatic GradIOSH membership; candidates must additionally complete the ‘elective’ unit 611.
