Your NEBOSH General Certificate will never expire and if you pass the exam successfully then it’s valid for life. Whilst the NEBOSH qualification never expires, it is advised by NEBOSH that you sit a refresher course every 3 years to ensure your knowledge is kept up to date.
As with any type of training, some people will find it more challenging than others and that’s no different when it comes to NEBOSH qualifications. The grading for the NEBOSH General Certificate course requires a score of 45% or above for the paper test or OBE for the NG1/IG1. The practical NG2/IG2 is not graded with a distinct mark and if you are successful the score will just be PASS.

However NEBOSH qualifications are also recognised in a number of other countries such as Hong Kong, The UAE, Oman, Qatar, Isle of Man, Ireland, Singapore, Gibraltar and a number of other places.
