I don’t have time to drive to a training course. Now what?
The IOSH Managing Safely course will re-ignite your career by giving you the inside track to management positions and jobs that pay handsomely. After this course, you will become the natural leader at work that others look up to because you will live real-life safety challenges over and over until managing these dicey situations becomes second nature to you.
There are many different ways to undertake this course but there isn’t a “one size fits all” especially when you take into account the different ways in which people are used to consuming information. We have created another avenue that you can travel down in order to attain this fully accredited certificate.
If you would like your IOSH Managing Safely Certificate but it is not feasible to get in your car, drive to a venue that is most certainly not in your immediate area and don’t forget…..by the time you get home your dinner will be cold, we have another option for you.
You can take the course via webinar! What is a webinar? It’s a web-based seminar that is delivered by a LIVE trainer right to your computer.
How will this benefit me?
- Study from the comfort of your own chair
- Reduced travel cost
- Increased convenience
- Live interaction with tutor and other students
- Reduced training costs
You will be part of a live four day course that is the same material as the classroom setting. Upon successful completion of the course and exam process, you will be awarded the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate. The course is run over four consecutive days. Each day is approximately six hours long and is broken down into manageable chunks which will also include frequent breaks so you can grab a fresh steaming cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.
On the last day, you will be given on online assessment of 30 questions. Part of the overall assessment process includes a risk assessment project which you will complete and email back to us within 14 days of completing the course. Don’t worry though! By the time you complete the course, you will have full knowledge how to properly complete a risk assessment and the tools to complete it properly.
What do I need for this course?
We don’t want the technical stuff to get in the way but there are some things you need to have in place in order to have the most trouble free experience possible.
- Computer
- Internet connection speed of at least 700MB (You can click here to test your speed)
- Microphone and Speakers – We recommend a headset for the best experience
- Webcam (this is optional but highly recommend so the tutor can see you when he speaks to you)
- Something to take notes with
If you have any kind of questions or concerns, just contact us. We will help you sort things out. We want to make this as easy as possible for you to have a great learning experience all while sitting in your own comfy chair and away from the distraction of travel and anxiety of sitting in a classroom full of people you don’t know. It will be as close to one on one training as you can get without sitting on the lap of the trainer.
