Although some material is available via PDF, the course is designed to be studied entirely online. If you prefer to study off line, there are a number of books available.
There is a 30 question online exam. You need to answer 20 of them correctly. There is also a project that you complete and send to us. This involves a risk assessment of your workplace using the forms we provide. You have up to two weeks to complete this from the time you finish your online exam. You need to score at least 62 out of 123 on the project.
Your final score is based on the aggregate scores of the project and online exam. The minimum passing score is 82.
If you don’t have a suitable workplace to complete your project, don’t worry! Just contact us for some direction.
You have access to the IOSH eLearning course for six months.
You can expect to spend about 24 hours of online study. The great thing about eLearning is that you learn at your own pace. The time is takes you may be more or less. Don’t forget to factor in offline study time to review notes, research, etc.
Once we submit your marks to IOSH, they review them and issue a certificate. The certificate is sent to us to sign and we post it to the address we have on file. From the time you submit your project to us until the certificate lands at your door can take up to six weeks.

The NEBOSH National General Certificate exams are held four times a year (March, June, September, December). You need to sit your exams at a NEBOSH accredited exam facility such as ours. You can also sit your exams at a British Council. There are three parts to the exams – Unit NGC1, Unit NGC2 and Unit NGC3.
Unit NGC1 and NGC2 are each a two hour exam that consists of ten short answer questions and one long answer question.
Unit NGC3 is a the ‘practical’ part of the exam process. This part of the exam is a safety inspection of the workplace which leads to creating a management report. The NGC3 needs to be completed and submitted within 14 days of completing the NGC1 and/or NGC2 exams.
The NEBOSH Oil and Gas exams are held two time per year (March and September). We hold a number of ‘on demand’ exams for our classroom based courses as well. You are welcome to sit your exams with us then. Contact us for additional details. The NEBOSH Oil and Gas course exam is a two hour exam that consists of ten short answer questions and one long answer question. The exam is taken at a NEBOSH accredited exam centre such as Wise Global Training.

Yes. There are exam centre located throughout the world. You can check the NEBOSH site for places that accept ‘external’ candidates by using their online exam locator. You can also sit your exams at a British Council. If you need to sit your exams at a British Council, contact us so we can help arrange this.
Yes. Simply click the link on the eLearning log in screen that says – “Forgotten your username or password”. The information will be sent to the email we have on our system.
You can simply contact us and we will resend them.
Close your internet browser down. Re-open your browser and clear your browser cache. Depending on which browser you have will dictate that process. Just Google ‘clear browser cache’ and your browser. Once you do that, re-start you computer and log back into you eLearning course. If this doesn’t work, contact our Help Desk for further assistance.
It may be that your course has expired. Contact our Help Desk for assistance and we can go through some options.
Once you buy your course online, your details are automatically emailed to you. If you don’t receive them after about 15 minutes, check your spam/junk folder. If you called our office to book your course, you usually have your details emailed by the end of the day. In the Welcome Email you receive, it will have your unique logon details and a link to our eLearning website. Click the link and enter your log on details. Once you are logged on, all you have to do is click the link of the course you purchased.

Once you have completed your IOSH course and are ready to take the exam, send an email to exams (@) wiseglobaltraining.com. We will do a quick review of your account and unlock the exam. Once this is complete, we will send you an email to advise you the exam is unlocked and ready for you to attempt.
